A friend or coworker is pushing you over the edge today -- even though you know perfectly well that they don't mean anything serious. Just take a deep breath and let them make a fool of themselves.

The leader of PSD believes that Moldova could come to pay amends equl to the state budget according to ECHR decisions

Dumitru Braghis, leader of the Social Democratic Party (PSD) considers that Moldova could come to paying amends equal to the state budget according to the decisions of the European Court for Human Rights (ECHR), which constituted in 2008 nearly 14 billion lei. A declaration in this context was made by him at the plenary sitting of the Parliament, DECA-press transmits.

The deputy reminded that Moldova had recently lost 2,5 million euros in one case, which is more than all the sums of money paid so far.

He reminded that Moldova is expected to have more expensive cases, which nobody knows how the state budget will cover them. Dumitru Braghis proposed the organization of hearings on this problem, where the Government would say what measures it takes to improve this situation.

But, Braghis' proposal was supported only by the opposition deputies. Communists preferred to listen to the speaker Marian Lupu, who said that, soon, the Parliament would organize hearings on the examination of the situation from the justice field. It s expected that, during these hearings, the focus will be put on Moldova's condemnation at ECHR. // DECA-Press
