An opposition deputy considers that once a month, the agenda of the Parliament must be elaborated by the opposition
Valeriu Cosarciuc, deputy of „Moldova Noastra” Alliance (AMN), president of the Parliamentary Commission for Agriculture and Food Industry, considers that Moldova must follow the recommendations of the Parliamentary Assembly of Council of Europe and once a month, the daily agenda of the plenary sittings of the Parliament must be elaborated by the opposition, DECA-press transmits.
On Thursday, at the plenary sitting of the Parliament, he specified that this thing is provided by a resolution of the Parliamentary Assembly of Council of Europe regarding the rights of the opposition, which was voted a few years ago including by the members of the delegation of the Parliament of Moldova at PACE. The main reason for this statement was the refuse of the majority faction to include in the daily agenda several problems proposed by the opposition. They are as follows: the organization of hearings on the topic of the situation in the agriculture; the hearing in the Parliament of the minister of foreign affairs and European integration, Andrei Stratan, on the problem of execution of RM-EU Action Plan; the adoption of a statement of the Parliament as far as the decision of Russia to open polling stations in Transnistrian for the presidential elections is concerned, etc. // DECA-Press Publication date: 29 February 2008 Source: Archive
