A group of local elected councillors from the part of PPCD from Telenesti declared they leaved the faction
In time of today’s sitting of the District Council of Telenesti, Eugen Manoli, vice-president of the district made a statement in the name of the 17 local elected councillors of PPCD, in which he announced that they would leave this political faction and declared themselves independent, DECA-pres reporter in the territory transmits.
„We do not leave the democratic alliance at a district level, we preserve the same form, we will continue working according to the social-economical development program of the district for the years 2008-2011, but on February 22nd, we will register as the Association of Independent Local Elected Councillors which will be formed in the district in the next few days”, the statement also says. Except the vice-president of the district, E. Manoli, the statement was signed by other activists of PPCD from the territory: Vadim Lelic, mayor of Telenesti town, Igor Botezat, vice-mayor of Telenesti town, Stefan Rosca, mayor of Zgardesti etc. – the total number of 17 local elected councillors. // DECA-Press Publication date: 23 February 2008 Source: Archive
