The communist power will lose a lot in the elections from 2009”, a political analyst considers

„Moldova is forced to tell Russia and European Union: we will become a new state”, the Russian portal AVA.md writes. This one publishes a large article on the attitude towards the social-economical and political situation from the Republic of Moldova, centered on the idea of balancing of Chisinau between Russia and EU, DECA-press informs.
Vitali Andrievski, the author of the article „Desteapta-te, Moldova!” (Wake Up, Moldova!), wanders why Republic of Moldova is the last one in Europe according to the level of existance. The answer, according to the cited article, may be found in tens of reasons: „Some of them accuse the communist authorities, others – the former leaders of the national-democrats, others – the separatist, and others – the unionists. At the same time, the actors guilty of this situation are: Russia, EU, USA and other countries”, but, accordng to the author, „none of us realizes his own guilty for what happens in Moldova”.
Referring to the process of consolidation of RM as a state, also called „Moldova project”, the analyst writes that this was a topical issue seven or three-four years ago.
As far as the political future of the Republic of Moldova is concerned, „the communist power will definitely lose the elections from 2009”. since, according to the Constitution, Voronin, also called „the little Stalin” cannot be reelected for the third time, the position of PCRM will be occupied by the opposition, because most citizens do not trust communists anymore.
At the same time, Abdrievski believes that „the future Moldova must maintain relations of mutual interest both, with the West and East, especially with Russia”. For this, „Chisinau will have to have constructive dialogues with Washington, Brussels, London, Paris, Rome, Berlin, Bucharest and, of course, Moscow and Kiev”, the political analyst concludes. // DECA-Press
