All the participants at the road traffic must be equal, an opposition deputy considers
The prime-vice-president of „Moldova Noastra” Alliance, Veaceslav Untila, believes that all the privileges in the road traffic must be cancelled, as that all people be equal, DECA-press Agency communicates.
He declared on Monday evening, in the TV program “In PROfunzime” from the TV channel „PRO TV-Chisinau”, that the cars with special numbers, as well as the ones with diplomatic numbers must not be privileged. The deputy believes that the situation when persons working in high posts are involved in car accidents or break the road traffic rules, being privileged by the police officers, are a bad example for the society. „In Republic of Moldova, in order not to have problems, road police officers are ordered not to stop cars with special registration numbers”, Veaceslav Untila said. He believes that, for the resolution of this problem, a political decision of the authorities must be adopted. // DECA-Press Publication date: 23 January 2008 Source: Archive
