Till the summer of 2008, Italy will inaugurate in Chisinau an embassy. This fact will offer the Moldovan citizens more access to consulate services, DECA-press informs.
This fact was announced by Massimo D’Alemo, the Italian minister of Foreign Affairs, who is in a visit to Chisinau.
Today, Moldovan citizens go to Bucharest to solve their visa problems.
According to the Italian official, Italy raised the immigration quota for Moldovan citizens – from 5 thousand to 6,5 thousand.
„The relations between Italy and Moldova become more and more constructive. We will continue helping Moldova to join EU”, Massimo D’Alemo declared on Wednesday, after the conclusion of a common statement with his homologue from Moldova, Andrei Stratan.
The Moldovan authorities announced that on January 28th, 2008, Chisinau will inaugurate a consulate in Bologna. //
