AMN accuses the power of imitation of the agreement with the opposition regarding the adoption of the new Law of parties
The power only imitated the agreement with the opposition in term of the preparation of the project of the new Law of parties for the second reading, the prime-vice-president of the Alliance „Moldova Noastra” (AMN), Veaceslav Untila, asserts.
He declared for DECA-press Agency that the majority faction needed to create the illusion of an agreement with the opposition in adopting this important law to make a positive picture in the eyes of the occidentals and especially in the eyes of the Council of Europe, which made the expertise of this document and watched over its implementation. „Despite the fact the opposition was assured that most of its proposals had been accepted, the most important items of the Law were made by the governing body according to its pleasure and requirements, given the interest of the Communist Party. I will give only two examples in this context: the financing of the parties from the budget will be possible only after July 1st, 2009, so that the opposition factions not have the money to prepare for the elections; the electoral blocks will be prohibited”, he declared. Veaceslav Untila affirms that it is not excluded the fact that, soon, the communists will start raising the electoral scale and said that a law project in this context has already been filed at the Permanent Bureau of the Parliament. „That means that the agreement is just for the people’s eyes, in reality, the communists elaborate and adopt the legislation they need in reaching their political goals. This situation cannot be accepted, because the legislation must be made for the whole country, for all citizens, and not for a small number of people who are governing now”, the prime-vice-president of AMN also declared. // DECA-Press Publication date: 09 January 2008 Source: Archive
