Oil prices prompt expanded drilling talkCrude oil prices hitting $100 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange Wednesday show the need for expanding domestic production, the White House said. Oil prices topped $100 a barrel during intra-day trading before closing at $99.62 a barrel.
