Italy is willing to open a diplomatic mission in Chisinau next year, Marco Minniti, the deputy minister of interiors of Italy stated at a meeting with the speaker Marian Lupu, the press service of the Parliament informs, cited by Info-Prim Neo.

The Italian official specified that several technical issues are to be concluded.

The talks tackled the phenomenon of illegal migration and Lupu stated that the Moldovan authorities are interested in the legal character of the migration phenomenon and adjusting this phenomenon to the legal provisions.

On his turn, Marco Minniti emphasised the fact that the interest of Italy is to settle an efficient mechanism as concerns the phenomenon of illegal migration, as well as signing a Readmission Agreement between the tow states. // Info-Prim Neo
