Try to give yourself a reality check -- it may be tough to get it from anyone else! At least one of your goals doesn't seem to square with the facts on the ground and it maybe time to finally let go.

Glock denies liability in cop shooting

Austrian firearms manufacturer Glock is denying any liability in the shooting of a Los Angeles police officer by his 3-year-old son.

Glock's lawyer declined formal comment to the Orange County Register Wednesday, but implied that the injured officer was more at fault for leaving the weapon in a place where the toddler could get his hands on it.

Officer Enrique Herrera Chavez was paralyzed from the waist down in 2006 by a shot fired by his young son as they drove along an Orange County freeway. The child was in the back seat where Chavez had his holster and Glock handgun.

It would appear to me this is a no-liability situation, said attorney John Renzulli. It is a tragic situation. But we're a system based on fault, and there is no fault on Glock's part.

Glock is one of four defendants in the tort lawsuit filed in Los Angeles, which requires that all parties that could possibly be at fault be named as defendants.
