Man allegedly let son, 10, driveA New York man was charged with child endangerment after he allegedly let his 10-year-old son drive his car in a convenience store parking lot. The boy drove into a parked car Wednesday night, Newsday reported. The boy's 9-year-old cousin was also in the car. Craig Griffith, 41, of East Islip was taken into custody up at a friend's house Thursday. Police said he took over the driving after his son crashed, dumped the car and the boys near his home and then fled on foot.
