The business in term of games of chance didn't record the expected success, generating in the republic problems of juridical, educational and economical character, Vladimir Voronin asserts, cited by DECA-press Agency.
The declaration was made by the Moldovan president within a sitting of representatives of the Government.
According to Voronin, the rooms of games of chance are placed chaotically while the business of such games is not connected with the tourism from our country.
The Moldovan president ordered the creation of a group of work, which will elaborate proposals for the improvement of the organization of games of chane business after „it analyzies the advanced experience of the industries of games of chance from developed countries”.
At the same time, the head of the state promised that, in this context, the best solutions would be applied for the field of games of chance, based on the principles of market economy, the interests of state, citizens and tourists.
Motivating this fact has a negative impact on the society, the Chisinau Municipal Council (CMC) tried to limit the activity of cassinos in the capital. Because of these reasons, the PSD councillor from Balti, Sergiu Banari asked a few months ago the authorities of Balti to prohibit the games of chance on the territory of Balti, but the proposal was rejected by the communist majority. The same request was included in the list of requirements of people who protested in January 2008 in Balti.
An association defending the interests of economic agents from the field of games of chance put CMC to trial and threatened in this context the Balti Municipal Council with a trial.// DECA-Press
