The Moldovan president Vladimir Voronin decorated Michael D, Kirby, the ambassador Plenipotentiary and Extraordinary of the USA in the Republic of Moldova with the „ Order of Honour”, DECA-press transmits.
The high state distinction of the Republic of Moldova was offered to the ambassador as a sign of profound gratitude for his special contribution in the development and making more profound the relationship between the USA and the Republic of Moldova.
On Thursday Vladimir Voronin had a meeting with Michael D. Kirby having as a cause the end of the diplomatic mission in the Republic of Moldova.
