The President of Moldova Vladimir Voronin will have a meeting with his Russian counterpart Dmitry Medvedev. The first meeting of the two heads of state will be held on the sidelines of the Informal CIS Summit that will take place in Saint Petersburg on June 6-7.
The possibility of the two presidents holding high-level meetings was discussed by the Moldovan Foreign Minister Andrei Stratan and his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov in Moscow.
Recently, Vladimir Voronin said that at a meeting with Dmitry Medvedev in Saint Petersburg, he will raise the issue of the urgent resumption of the Transdniestria conflict settlement talks in the 5+2 format //
