The Slovakian authorities are ready to join the EU Common Visa Application Center housed by the Hungarian Embassy in Chisinau. The negotiations with the Hungarian officials have been already initiated.
Such an announcement was made by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Slovakia to Moldova Dagmar Repcekova at a meeting with the Moldovan Speaker Marian Lupu in Chisinau on May 29.
The EU Common Visa Application Center in Chisinau was inaugurated on April 25, 2007. Presently, the Center issues visas for eight European states, including Denmark, Austria, Slovenia, Estonia, Latvia, Hungary, Iceland, and Sweden //
