Parliament appoints two Supreme Court of Justice judges

Elena Covalenco and Iurie Diaconu were unanimously named as judges of the Supreme Court of Justice by the Parliament on May 29.

Vladimir Turcan, chairman of the parliamentary commission for appointments and immunities, said that the two judges meet the requirements and are suitable for the vacancies.

Elena Covalenco had been judge at the Rascani District Court, while Iurie Diaconu – judge at the Ciocana District Court in Chisinau // Reporter.MD
