Try to give yourself a reality check -- it may be tough to get it from anyone else! At least one of your goals doesn't seem to square with the facts on the ground and it maybe time to finally let go.

Head of state promulgates law to adopt national security strategy

President Vladimir Voronin promulgated a law for adopting Moldova’s national security strategy on May 26.

According to the presidential press service, this political document contains the national and international security framework used by Moldova, defines the state’s objectives in the area of national security, the general human values and principles that must be promoted and protected by the state, and reasserts the irreversibility of the course to European integration.

“The permanent neutrality status of Moldova is a key principle of the national security strategy, which sends a political message to the European Union and the Western partners, reasserting the irreversibility of the plans to transform Moldova into a democratic and European state of law,” the communiqu? from the presidential press service says.

The strategy was adopted late last week by the vote of the Communist majority and of the Christian-Democratic MPs. It says that Moldova is a neutral state that cannot form part of military blocks and take part in military operations and does not allow foreign military troops and munitions on its territory // Reporter.MD
