You've got to be careful of other people today -- not because they want to stab you in the back, but just because they might all be running off in their own directions. They're slightly out of control!

Judge approves MySpace message probe

A Pennsylvania judge asked an attorney to investigate e-mail messages that may prove a suspect didn't put together a Web site containing threats to blacks.

Judge Steve Leskinen approved lawyer Simon B. John's request for the prosecution to ask MySpace.com to provide documents of messages between Kevin Andrew Burd and an unnamed person, the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reported Wednesday.

It is reported Burd, 21, is accused of issuing terroristic threats, identity theft, recklessly endangering another person and harassment.

Bird is accused of using the name and picture of a 16-year-old to make a phony MySpace page. It is alleged the fake page featured several racist comments aimed at blacks, including a statement that he would bring a gun to school someday and kill them all.

In e-mail documents, a person called Riss seems to take credit for making the page, the Tribune-Review reported.

They'll kick me out of school if they find out I'm the one who did it, Riss allegedly wrote to Burd.
