Moldovan MPs take part in international seminar on security control
A delegation of the Moldovan Parliament is paying a working visit to the Netherlands between May 19 and 21. The delegation will take part in the seminar “Democratic Control on Security Policy: necessities and options for strengthening legislative control”.
According to the Parliament’s press service, the delegation is composed of the MPs Iurie Rosca, Alexandru Lipcan, Igor Klipii, Semion Dragan, Stefan Grigoriev, Gheorghe Susarenco, Angela Leahu, and Anatol Taranu. The seminar participants will discuss the parliament’s role in governing the security and defense sectors in Moldova, the democratic control over security, etc. The program of the visit includes visits to the Dutch Parliament, Foreign Ministry, the Netherlands Institute of International Relations Clingendael and the Audit Office.
