You've got to be careful of other people today -- not because they want to stab you in the back, but just because they might all be running off in their own directions. They're slightly out of control!

Sen. Kennedy rushed to Mass. hospital

U.S. Sen. Edward Ted Kennedy was rushed to a hospital in Cape Cod, Mass., Saturday morning after falling ill, The Cape Cod Times reported.

The 76-year-old Democratic senator from Massachusetts spent nearly two hours in Cape Cod Hospital's emergency room before being transferred to Boston's Mass General Hospital.

The exact medical condition that caused Kennedy to need emergency services had not been released to the media, the newspaper said.

The emergency room visit came hours before the Kennedy family was to take part in the annual Best Buddies Challenge event in the village of Hyannisport.

The event is a fundraiser for the Best Buddies foundation, which helps people with intellectual disabilities.

The Times said the competition was supposed to be followed by a concert at the home of the ailing senator, who has served in the U.S. Senate for 43 years.
