Try to give yourself a reality check -- it may be tough to get it from anyone else! At least one of your goals doesn't seem to square with the facts on the ground and it maybe time to finally let go.

Moldovan experts did not discuss Convention on Small Border Traffic in Bucharest

The Moldovan experts that had been in Bucharest between May 14 and 15 did not discuss the Convention on Small-Scale Border Traffic, the Romanian Foreign Ministry’s press service informs.

Earlier, the Moldovan Foreign Ministry reported that the experts would discuss the convention as well as the Basic Political Treaty with Romania.

According to the Romanian Ministry, at a round of talks on May 14-15, the experts from Moldova and Romania considered the Moldovan-Romanian State Border Treaty and the Framework Agreement on European Strategic Partnership between the Moldovan and Romanian Governments.

The two delegations of experts agreed that the next round of talks will take place in Chisinau. A date will be fixed afterward, by diplomatic channels.

Recently, the Ministry of Foraging Affairs and European Integration of Moldova proposed that the Convention on Small-Scale Border Traffic should cover the entire territory of Moldova, including Transdniestria.

A number of MEPs were quick to react, saying that the Moldovan authorities’ proposal is unrealistic because Moldova does not have control over its whole territory// Reporter.MD
