Vladimir Voronin will visit Belarus early in June
The President of Moldova Vladimir Voronin will pay an official visit to Belarus at the start of June.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Andrei Stratan and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Moldova Vasilii Sakovici discussed visit preparation-related aspects at a meeting on May 13. According to the Moldovan Foreign Ministry’s press service, the visit is scheduled for June 2-3. The interlocutors pointed to the developing Moldovan-Belarusian relations, especially in the commercial-economic sector. They said that the possibility of creating a joint company and of implementing joint projects designed to stimulate trade between the two states should be considered during the visit.
