Woman, 90, found dead on toilet; 2 chargedA man and woman in Wisconsin face criminal charges after police found the decomposing body of a 90-year-old woman on a toilet, officials said. The body of Magdeline Alvina Middlesworth was found in a Necedah, Wis., home she shared with Tammy D. Lewis, 35, and her daughter, 15, and son, 12, the Wisconsin State Journal reported Monday. Lewis and Alan A. Bushey, 57, each face two felony counts of causing mental harm to a child. Lewis, who said Middlesworth died about two months ago, has also been charged with obstructing police, a criminal complaint said. Lewis and Bushey belong to a small church he built onto his home, less than a mile from her residence, in Juneau County, Sheriff Brent Oleson told the Journal. Police said there was evidence that Middlesworth gave financial support to Lewis and the church, and that investigators sought to learn if there had been an attempt to defraud Middlesworth. A bond of $50,000 each was set for Lewis and Bushey, and they were not allowed to interact with each other or the children, who were taken into protective custody.
