The Democratic Party asks the head of the state to remove the impediment in the process of conclusion of the Convention on small cross-border traffic with Romania
The Democratic Party (PD) addressed on Wednesday a letter to President Vladimir Voronin by means of which it asks him to make use of his influence in order to remove the impediments in the process of conclusion of the Convention on small cross-border traffic with Romania, DECA-press Agency informs.
This fact was announced by the leader of PD, Dumitru Diacov in time of a press conference. He declared that the conclusion of this Convention is in the interest of citizens from Moldova and it must not caused by the conclusion of the Moldo-Romanian basic political treaty and the Agreement regarding the delimitation of the borders. Dumitru Diacov asserts that the problem must be solved pragmatically and constructively, because there are parties in Moldova which speculate on the refuse of the authorities to conclude the Convention, organize actions of protest, which may destabilize the situation. The Democratic Party asserts that the Republic of Moldova has got too many problems and it shouldn’t create one more artificially.// DECA-Press Publication date: 08 May 2008 Source: Archive
