The Moldovan Minister of Foreign Affairs told the CE General Secretary about the integrationist achievements of the Republic of Moldova
On Tuesday, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of the Republic of Moldova, Andrei Stratan, had a meeting in Strasbourg, with Terry Davis, General Secretary of the Council of Europe (CoE), where he spoke about the achievements of the Republic of Moldova in the process of European integration, DECA-press communicates.
Stratan went to Strasbourg on the occasion of the 118th Session of the Session of the Committee of Ministers of CoE. According to a press release of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from Chisinau, Andrei Stratan informed Davis about the progress obtained in he process of adjustment of national norms to European standards and successful implementation of Republic of Moldova – European Union Action Plan. This fact opens the path for the negotiation of an advanced document of Moldo-community relations. During the discussions, Andrei Stratan referred to the encouraging evolutions in the context of initiatives of the head of the Moldovan state referring to the Transnistrian problem through consolidation of confidence between the two parts.// DECA-Press Publication date: 08 May 2008 Source: Archive
