On Sunday, on the occasion of Easter, President Vladimir Voronin visited his mother's grave from his native village, Corjova. Despite the fact this official village is under the subordinaton of Chisinau, in order to go there, it is necessary to pass through the territory controlled by the Transnistrian separatis forces.

As DECA-press transmits, the Transnistrian customs officers and frontier guards didn't stop the head f the state, who passed with his convoy to Corjova.

The president was accompanied by his wife, son, daughter and grandchildren.

Recently, the leader from Tiraspol, Igor Smirnov, declared that the Transnistrian republic would remove the prohibition of access on its territory for the officials from Chisinau as a reply to the intention of Chisinau to ask the European Union to remove the prohibition of access on its territory for Transnistrian leaders.
