The leader of PPCD is not afraid of the electoral scale of 6%
The leader of the Christian-Democratic People's Party (PPCD) from Moldova Iurie Rosca is not worried about the electoral scale of 6%. He was the one to insist on on Thursday, on the fact that the Parliament adopts this scale, DECA-press transmits.
During the plenary sitting from April 10th, the Parliament adopted in final reading several changes to the Electoral Code, by means of which the electoral scale was raised by 2% and will constitute 6%. „They say that, at the next elections, PPCD will not be able to gather 6% of the electorate's vote and that we would be interested that the electoral scale is 5$. PPCD is not afraid of the scale of 6% and we opt for its adoption”, Iurie Rosca said. According to the changes made in the Electoral Code, the creation of electoral blocks has been prohbited in Moldova. Moreover, only two persons from political structures will have the right to participate on the lists of a political faction. // DECA-Press Publication date: 11 April 2008 Source: Archive
