Russia hopes for some results after the meeting of Vladimir Voronin with Igor Smirnov, DECA-press informs.

This comes out from an interview given to the agency RIA „Novosti” by the ambassador with Special Missions of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Valeri Nesteruskin.
„Russia hopes that the meeting of leaders of Moldova and Transnistria will make it overcome the crisis situation in the process of negotiations regarding the transnistrian problem”, he mentioned.

In his opinion, the planned meeting „arouses a balanced optimismЃh.

„We hope that the progresses recorded so far will become real things, in order for us to be able to overcome the crisis situation we have all been living in the last period of time”, the representative of Russia also said. // DECA-Press
