The removal of military forces from the Security Zone is delayed
The delegations from the Unified Control Commission (UCC), managed to overcome the crisis in the negotiations regarding the removal of the posts of military forces from the Security Zone, at the ordinary sitting from Thursday, April 3rd, from Tighina, DECA-press Agency informs.
The co-president of UCC from the part of the Republic of Moldova, Ion Solonenco, declared that, at the end of some strong debates, the Transnistrian part accepted the proposal of Chisinau about the examination of this project at a next sitting. „For us, it is absolutely evident that, in this moment, the Transnistrian delegation is not ready to negotiate the withdrawal of the military posts because it definitely expects for a political decisions as far as Transnistria’s status is concerned. This step means that the withdrawal of the posts was preserved in the daily agenda of UCC and there exist some solutions in perspective”, Solonenco said.
