The independent deputies will own the majority in the National Assembly
On March 30th, the second round of elections in the National Assembly – legislative body of the autonomy – was held in UTA Gagauzia, DECA-press communicates.
According to preliminary data, the National Assembly will be formed of 21 independent deputies, ten from PCRM, doi de la „Ravnopravieh si doi de la Partidul Democrat din Moldova. The round of elections was held on March 16th. The League for Defence of Human Rights, which monitored the elections, will launch a report referring to the fairness of elections in the Gagauzian Autonomy.
