Brazilian teen admits to a dozen homicides

A Brazilian teenager has admitted to killing at least a dozen people, one of whom was killed because he wanted to date the confessed killer's sister.

The 16-year-old alleged killer -- whose name was not released Friday because he is a minor -- was reportedly very calm when he told police officials about the crimes, O Globo reported online.

Police said they had enough evidence to prove the teen killed six people. The teen was arrested this week in the southern Brazil town of Novo Hamburgo.
