The closer the day of the so-called appointment of the new Government (which will be probably held next month), the more intensive the intrigue regarding its members, DECA-press Agency notes.

Some media of mass information spread the idea according to which the new minister of Finances will be Mariana Durlesteanu, Ambassador of the Republic of Moldova to Great Britain from 2002. The current minister, Mihai Pop, will become vice-prime-minister in charge with the economic block.

It is also supposed that the minister of Economy and Commerce, Igor Dodon, will be appointed deputy prime-minister. At the same time, he will work on his current post. The Service of Standardization and Metrology will disappear at his Ministry.

It is not excluded that Andrei Stratan could be replaced in the post of minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration by the former representative of Moldova to European Union, Eugen Carpov.

They also say that Victor Stepaniuc from deputy-prime-minister will become minister of Education and Youth. At the same time, a new ministry will be constituted – the Ministry of Territorial Development and Constructions, which will be conducted by the director of the Agency with the same name, Vladimir Baldovici.

The intrigue increased more and more after president Vladimir Voronin declared on Wednesday at a meeting with the pupils from the High School from the village of Magdacesti, Criuleni district, that the future Government will have six member women, and its members will be a surprise for everyone. // DECA-Press
