Voronin: three deputy-prime-minister are in the list of those who intend to replace prime-minister Vasile Tarlev
When asked about the successor of Vasile Tarlev's successor, President Vladimir Voronin declared after the sitting of the Government that the first three persons on the list are the three vice-prime-ministers - Zinaida Greceanii, Andrei Stratan and Victor Stepaniuc, DECA-press Agency communicates.
We remind you that Vasile Tarlev announced on Wednesday about his resignation from prime-minister. Tarlev motivated his action by the fact that he offered possibilities to work to other new persons. At the sitting of the Government, where president Vladimir Voronin also assisted, the prime-minister was awareded „Ordinul Republicii” by the head of the state. Voronin thanked Tarlev „for the contribution to the development of Republic of Moldova and for the work done as the head of the Government”. Vasile Tarlev was appointed prime-minister in 2001, as soon as communsts came to power in the Republic of Moldova. He worked as the prime-minister of Moldova for the longest period of time, that is for seven years. In Republic of Moldova, the prime-minister is voted by the Parliament.
