Parliamentary Speaker Marian Lupu has always been and will be a member of the PCRM’s team, Moldovan President Vladimir Voronin stated within a news conference.

The president also mentioned that „the candidacy of Speaker Marian Lupu, was put forward by the PCRM for all the offices he held at the Ministry of Economy and Commerce”.

His candidacy “has also been put forward by the Central Committee and backed by the PCRM la when being elected as the Parliamentary speaker, the office he is holding nowadays".

„I am pleased that sixth PCRM’s Congress, Marian Lupu, was elected as a member of the Central Committee. It is an opportunity for him to gather experience in working within a party, what is very important for a politician. For a personality as Marian Lupu is, who has less than a year experience as a member of the PCRM; it is a big advance in the party’s hierarchy.” Voronin said.  // DECA-Press
