The confrontations between PPCD and PLDM continue developing
The direct confrontation between the Christian-Democratic People's Party (PPCD) and the Liberal-Democratic Party from Moldova (PLDM), started a few weeks ago, are intensifying, DECA-press communicates.
After a series of mutual serious accusations, the confrontation entered a new stage – the deputy-president of PPCD, Stefan Secareanu, addressed an appeal to the general prosecutor Valeriu Gurbulea, in which he asked to be explained why the Prosecution didn't start an investigation in the case of commercialization of six aiplanes TU-154B in 1998 of a company from Russia. One of the basic actors of the transaction was Vladimir Filat, who was the chief of the Department of Privatization and Administration of State Property at that moment. Stefan Secareanu reminds that in october 1998, an investigation commission of the Parliament has been created, which discovered disorders in this process. The commission asked the General Prosecution to start an investigation, but this thing didn't happen. Christian-democrats asked the Prosecution to return to this case and start the necessary investigation in this context. // DECA-Press Publication date: 14 March 2008 Source: Archive
