The Government of Romania approved Romania-Ukraine-Moldova Common Operational Program, elaborated in common by these three neighbouring countries, DECA-press Agency communicates.

This week, the document will be transmitted to the European Commission, which will adopt it.

The total budget for the period of 2007-2013 is 126,7 million Euro.

Romania-Ukraine-Moldova Common Operational Program is financed by the European Union through the European Neighbouring and Partnership Instrument and co-funded by the partner states within the given program.

The area eligible for this program covers six districts from Romania, two Ukrainian regions and the whole territory of the Republic of Moldova.

The program will finance projects regarding the economical and social development, protection of environment and preparation for emergency situations and actions of local communities for the development of the civil society. // DECA-Press
