The Party „Patria-Moldova” has no leader
The Party „Patria-Moldova” distrusted the leader of the faction, Andrei Tarna, appointed in this post in September 2007, DECA-press transmits.
As a reason for this decision was the fact that the leader of the faction has a different opinion from the members of the party regarding the resolution of the Transnistrian conflict. At a press conference held on Tuesday, Gheorghe Sima, vice-president of the party said that Tarna opts for the recognition of Transnistria as an independent state, and after that, discuss about the reform of the country. „This position doesn't correspond to the state „Patria-Moldova”. Soon, we will organize an extraordinary congress, where the president of the faction will be reelected”, Sima said. He announced that the member of the party, deputy Gheorghe Musteata, was excluded from the faction because of the same reasons. Sima also announced that, on March 13th, Andrei Tarna, Gheorghe Musteata and him will participate at the consultations in the State Duma of Russia, regarding the Transnistrian conflict. // DECA-Press Publication date: 12 March 2008 Source: Archive
