The executive from Comrat asks for the internation humanitarian aid meant for „the Gagauzian nation” from the authorities of the Republic of Moldova

On Monday, the Government of the Gagauzian autonomy emmitted an order, addressed to the prime-minister and president of the Republic of Moldova, by means of which it asks them to solve the situation of international humanitarian aid meant for the Souther region of the country, DECA-press Agency informs.

Among the others, the requirement of the Executive from Comrat mentions about a set of humanitarian aid from the Russian Federation formed of ten tons of food products, as well as the sum of one hundred thousand euros, offered to Gagauzia by the Government from Bucharest.

The first airplane with humanitarian aid from Russia got off the ground in Chisinau on March 7th, but the representatives of Comrat were not admitted at the receipt of the aid. Moreover, officials from Chisinau announced that the autonomous region would not receive humanitarian aid.

At the same time, the Executive from Comrat condemns the statements of some Moldovan officials who politized these humanitarian aids. In addition, the minister of Agriculture and Food Industry, Anatol Gorodenco, declared that Gagauzia would not receive these aids at all.

According to the order, such countries as Czech republic, Turkey, Belarus and several regions of the Russian Federation replied to the requirement for help addressed by the authorities from Comrat. // DECA-Press
