The speaker Marian Lupu participated at the holiday Maslenita this year too. As usual, the holiday was organized by the Russian Community from Moldova. This one was held on Sunday, at „Aventura Parc”, DECA-press Agency informs.

Lupu was the only official present at this event. This year, he talked to the representatives of the Russian community in Russian and tested the food served within the holiday.
At this event, there were also some incidents recorded. The crew of the TV channel „PRO-TV Chisinau” asserts that they haven't been permitted to shoot the speaker while testing meals and having the drinks offered by the organizers. At the same time, other two TV channels – „NIT” and „Moldova-1” – were permitted to do this thing, without any problem.
Marian Lupu mentioned about the importance of this holiday in promoting interethnic tolerance in Moldova and focused on its great role for orthodox Christians. On this day, which precedes the Great Fast, people forgive their sins. The speaker called all the people present at the event to forgive each other. // DECA-Press
