Communists from the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova, who own the majority and on whom the activity of the Legislative depends, are against the discussion in the Parliament of a decision-making porcess of condemnation of the crimes of the communist governing system, DECA-press transmits.
This project was elaborated by deputy Vitalia Pavlicenco, leader of the National-Liberal. In time of the plenary sitting of the Parliament from Thursday, she insisted on the discussion of this project, but the communists were against.
Vitalia Pavlicenco reminded her colleagues from the Parliament that, before that, Council of Europe had condemned the communism and had said that Moldova had to do the same thing.
She couldn't convince communists even when she reminded them that soon, the Congress of PCRM will be held and the condemnation of the communism on the eve of this Congress could be „a nice gift for the society”. //
