Vlad Cubreacov: AEI and CPRM have ceded Moldovan land to Ukraine
Moldova's ruling Alliance for European Integration and the previous Communist authorities bear full responsibility for the cession of the Moldovan territory in the Palanca village area to a foreign country, believes the Deputy Chairman of the Christian Democratic Popular Party (CDPP), ex-parliamentarian Vlad Cubreacov.
Speaking at the CDPP’s 12th congress held in Chisinau on Sunday, Cubreacov named Prime Minister Vlad Filat, Deputy Premier and Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Iurie Leanca, and ex-president Vladimir Voronin [in 2005 – 2009, the CDPP and the then ruling Communist Party headed by Voronin were closest political allies] “Mafioso guys wearing bow ties” for their signature, promulgation and realization of the treaty according to which Moldova loses 7.7 kilometers of its national territory [under the Palanka portion of Ukraine’s Odessa-Reni highway that runs a little into the Moldovan territory there].
“The incumbent country rulers are but clownish anti-communists, equally guilty of the territorial yield to Ukraine as are Voronin’s communists”, stressed the second important-most Christian Democrat.
And the first one, CDPP Chairman Iurie Rosca stated at the forum, “The four AEI constituent parties prepare their electoral plans proceeding from their personal interests, not from the Moldovan legislation. Blows below the belt are becoming more frequent, particularly with respect to the CDPP that is not afraid of telling the truth openly”.
In his words, an early parliamentary election in Moldova is inevitable, after which the Christian Democratic Popular Party will carry out a thorough preparation work so as to come back to parliament one day.
CDPP Deputy Chairman Stefan Secareanu said, “I am waiting for the Liberal wave to run across Moldova and roll back to where it came from, and we, the Popular Frontists [the party’s previous name] shall remain because waves come and go, while real cliffs stay eternally”.
The congress re-elected the above three politicians to the party leadership posts for a new term of office.
