Vitalia Pavlicenco: PNL withdraws from the electoral competition

Yesterday evening, in time of the debates from „PRO TV Chisinau”, the leader of the National-Liberal Party of Moldova (PNL), Vitalia Pavlicenco, declared that the faction would announce this week about its withdrawal from the electoral competition for anticipated elections, DECA-press informs.

Pavlicenco specified that PNL would call its electors to vote for the Liberal Democratic Party, Liberal Party and Our Moldova Alliance.

At the same time, Vitalia Pavlicenco specified for “Stirea Zilei” that PNL registered for the anticipated elections, since the law on political parties obliges factions to participate in one of two consecutive elections. Otherwise, the Ministry of Justice gets the right to remove this party from the register.

At the parliamentary elections from spring 2009, PNL participated on the list of Actiunea Europeana Movement, that gathered 1,01% of votes.

At the same time, the Actiunea Europeana Movement also declared it withdraws from the electoral competition.
