UK ambassador in Moldova meets with Transnistrian leaders
Ambassador of Great Britain in Moldova Keith Shannon visited Tiraspol on Tuesday, where he held meetings in the Transnistrian Supreme Council and in the ministry of foreign affairs.
The Ambassador discussed with minister of foreign affairs Vladimir Yastrebchak and his assistant Sergey Simonenco the problem of Moldo-Transnistrian relationships, especially, perspectives of resuming the settlement talks in the 5+2 format.
The Britain diplomat met in the Supreme Council with speaker Anatoly Kaminski, his assistant Mikhail Burla and head of the parliamentary commission for foreign policy Sergey Ceban.
"This meeting will help me to give qualitative advices to Britain companies and businessmen about possibilities to conduct business affairs in Transnistria. Gentlemen, that I have talked with today, are very competent in economy problems that I am interested in. I got answers for all disturbing problems", Keith Shannon said after he ended his visit to Tiraspol.
