Chisinau/ Moldova.ORG/ -- After a break of about six years, the Moldovan products are finally welcome in Transnistria. Evgeny Shevchuk has signed today a document which cancels the taxation of the goods imported from Moldova, informs the official webpage of the leader of Transnistria.

The decision was announced today, January 17 by Piotr Stepanov during the session of the Supreme Assembly. Mr. Stepanov is the candidate of the so-called premier position of Transnistria.

“For many years we have isolated ourselves from the foreign world. The current administration must attract investments in the region,” said Stepanov for Olivia-Press news agency.

Evgeny Shevchuk added that the Transnistrian side considers that these new regulations will be welcomed by Chisinau.

From 2006, the Transnistrian customs imposed a 100% taxation of the value of all the goods imported from Moldova.
