Transnistria: Number of Ukrainian and Russian passports growing rapidly

‘Already 96 thousand of our citizens have Ukrainian passports’, said the Transnistian leader Igor Smirnov.

According to him, the number of citizens with Ukrainian passports is growing rapidly, despite the fact that the Ukrainian consulate in Tiraspol has not been opened yet, informed UNIAN.

Smirnov added that 120 thousand inhabitants of Transnistria have Russia's citizenship, and ‘60% of the property is owned by Russia's capital.’
