The weapons may eventually shoot, warned ex vice-prime-minister V. Osipov
Chișinău / Moldova.ORG/ -- On 14 of January, Friday, the ex vice-prime-minister Victor Osipov made a series of declarations at the German Radio SÜDWESTRUNDFUNK, with the aim of informing the German population concerning the transnistrian separatism problem.
At the radio show, V. Osipov cited the well known Russian drama classic Anton Chekhov, mentioning that: „When in the first act of a theater play, a weapon is on the wall, in the second one certainly it will be used for shooting”.
Also V. Osipov mentioned that Russia, as a successor of the ex-USSR, is responsible for some of the conflicts in the region. Referring to those approximately 20.000 tons of military equipment stockpiled on the territory of Moldova's Eastern region (called Transnistria) from the soviet period, V. Osipov mentioned that the Republic of Moldova needs a total demilitarization, only so a stable peace will be possible.
The declarations of the ex vice-prime minister are made in the context of the active requirements of the Transnistria self-proclaimed authorities to Russian Federation in order to keep the presence of the Russian armed forces, and even to increase their presence in this separatist region.
