The process of registration of candidates for mayor of Buteni came to an end
The registration process of candidates for the function of mayor of Buteni has closed on Thursday, at midnight. To everyone's surprise, only two candidates have registered for the elections – the representative of the Communist Party, Alexei Ieremia, and the representative of „Moldova Noastra” Alliance, Tudor Agaci, DECA-press communicates.
For the local council, only PCRM and AMN have presented the lists of candidates. The other parties didn't show any interest for the posts in the local public administration in this village.
To everyone's surprise, the former candidate of AMN, Anatolie Postolachi, didn't register for the elections. Till the end, he didn't exclude the possibility of runnign for, but this thing didn't happen.
The elections of mayor of the village of Buteni will be held on March 2nd.
The village of Buteni is the unique locality from the Republic of Moldova in which the problem of mayor hasn’t been solved yet. Last year, several attempts of electing the mayor of the locality have been held, but all of them failed. // DECA-Press
