The preparation for the parliamentary elections from 2009 will start in February

The preparation for the parliamentary elections from 2009 will start in February. This thing is mentioned in the working program of the Central Electoral Commission in 2008, DECA-press communicates.
At the first stage, the electoral lists will be made. This procedure will be performed in February-March and will require the cooperation of CEC with the local administration.
At the second stage, the list of expenditures will be elaborated. This procedure will last till the second half of May. Then, in summer, these expenditures will be included in the state budget project for the year 2009.
During the year, the status of electoral stamps will be checked, seminars will be organized for the promotion of the latest improvements in the Electoral Code, the set of documents for the organization of elections and the projects of electors' informing programs in time of the electoral campaign will be prepared.
The next parliamentary elections will be organized in the first few months of the next year. // DECA-Press
