The deputies from the Parliament voted a statement regarding the declaration of the independence of Kosovo
On Friday, the Parliament adopted unanimously a statement regarding the declaration of independence of Kosovo, by means of which it is worried about the step made by the authorities from Pristina, DECA-press Agency transmits.
„The unilateral declaration of the independence of the region, which is a part of a sovereign state well-known on the international stage, without the agreement of its constitutional authority, is a serious violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Serbia, the UNO Status, the Resolution 1244 of the Security Council of UNO and the basic items of the final act of the Conference for Security and Cooperation in Europe”, the statement says.
The Parliament considers that the situation from Kosovo contributes to the raise of separatism – one of the main dangers of the 21st century”.
Deputies from Chisinau are sure of the fact that „the reserves of the peaceful and constructive dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina haven't been spoiled yet”.
„The Parliament of the Republic of Moldova considers that the future of Kosovo and of the whole Servia denotes a European general perspective, able to liquidate the tension in the region, assure the political and economic stability, the civic peace, and guarantee the that the human rights are obeyed”. // DECA-Press
