The Constitutional Court's help was required 27 times last year

Last year, the Constitutional Court's help was required 27 times, the president of this court, Dumitru Pulbere, communicated.
Most often, deputies addressed at the Court (12 requirements), followed by the Government with four announcements, parliamentary lawyers – two, the president of the republic – one.
More often, the laws adopted by the Parliament have been contested – items from 13 laws, followed by the decisions of the Government – six.
Three demands issued last year referred to the review of the Constitution and one – to the interpretation of the Constitution.
In total, in 2007, 17 normative acts were checked. Most of the contested items were recognized as constitutional. // DECA-Press
